“When the pandemic hit, I switched to home workouts, overexercising, and managed to start racking up injuries. After spending about a year in PT, I decided I needed to get back to working out with heavier weights again in a more controlled environment and with more intention. I have some balance issues and muscle/nerve deterioration in my posterior chain from multiple sclerosis and uncorrected scoliosis that requires some movement modifications. He also knows how to work with women, is respectful, and doesn’t try to tell you what your aesthetic goals should be, or train based on what the current IG/social media trend is. He understands body dysmorphia and ED, and while I have been working with him, I’ve stepped away from the scale, and have stopped calorie restricting which is an added win.
